The Warrenton Rotary Club was established on March 29, 1945, with The Rev. Al Chambliss (an Episcopal minister), as the charter president. Selby G. Benton joined the Warrenton Rotary Club in 1947, and represents the longest, continuously active member in the Club.
From this Charter membership, the Club has consistently grown in both membership and community influence. It now has twenty-seven members and has funded many Community Projects (local and internationally).
